Nbr rijder Dave Liekens is er zondag 25/10/09 in geslaagd om de Exceedcup (officieuze Nederlandse kampioenschap) Hobby te winnen. De finale van het zes races tellende kampioenschap vond plaats in Purmerend. Dave had genoeg aan een zevende plaats om zijn eerste plaats in de einduitslag in de hobbyklasse veilig te stellen.
